Have you ever wondered how far a sudden idea born in a laboratory can go in transforming society and industry?

In this lecture, Prof. Chih-Kuang Yeh will guide us through the pivotal journey that began with the challenge of being unable to obtain contrast agents and ultimately led to the successful development of Taiwan’s first domestically produced ultrasound contrast agent, marking a bold step into entrepreneurship.

Beyond advancing thrombosis treatment in precision medicine through the innovative “Ultrasonic Tornado” technology, Prof. Yeh has further pushed microbubble technology to new frontiers, expanding its applications into sustainable fields such as water purification and wafer cleaning.

王中信博士將分享自己從學術研究走向產業創業的心路歷程,並以博信生物科技在超音波顯影劑新藥開發的經驗為例,探討科研成果如何轉化為臨床應用與市場價值。
透過這個旅途,也分享如何突破舒適圈,跨領域學習並找到自我定位的觀點與心法。希望這些故事與經驗,讓大家看見科研人員在產業舞台上的可能性,並鼓勵每位同學勇敢追尋屬於自己的未來方向。

Dr. Chung-Hsin Wang will share his personal journey from academic research to entrepreneurial ventures in industry. Using the experience of Trust Bio-sonics, Inc. in developing a novel ultrasound contrast agent as an example, he will discuss how scientific research can be transformed into clinical applications and market value.

Through this journey, he will also share insights on stepping outside one’s comfort zone, engaging in interdisciplinary learning, and discovering one’s own direction. These stories and experiences aim to highlight the possibilities for researchers in the industrial arena and encourage students to courageously pursue their own future paths.
